key concepts Film poster analysis

  Language: the bright colors contrast against eachother and the iconic font of the "annie" franchise is in bold and is easy to recognise. and represents the upbeat musical. Institution: columbia pictures and sony pictures  releasing companies  jamie foxx  also starred in the film and helped produce some of the iconic soundtracks will smithn was considered for the film originally but his daughter was too old to starr.  Audience: their audience is between 6-16 and primarily girls and seems to be targeted toward kids who were in foster care or the adoption system . Representation: the film has some dark moments with the protagonist and her abusive foster mother but seems to be more light hearted compared to the reality of foster kids who don't get their happy ending like she did.  The actor  Quvenzhané Wallis  was also the first black annie that was introduce which caused a lot of controversy around the diversity, soundtrack and actors.
